This child is growing like a weed! I mean, seriously! He's 6 weeks old ... and weighs 11.8 pounds!! He has slowed up a little bit, but is still gaining almost a pound a week. The pediatrician told me Friday that if he continues at this pace, he's on track to weigh 24 pounds when he's 6 months old. Is that alarming to anyone else??!!! Hopefully, he'll stop eating at such a crazy rate. He's getting anywhere from 4-6 ounces every 3 hours. I've been told that at this age, he shouldn't have the stomach capacity to eat so much but he does. He keeps every bit of it down too. He doesn't throw any of it up. Thank God we were approved for WIC. I don't think that we'd be able to buy enough formula to keep up with him otherwise!
So other than trying to keep Russ fed, we've not really been doing much. We have been taking a lot of pictures though!

he doesn't look big...or chunky! i know andrew put on the weight when he started formula. not sure why b/c he was getting the same amount. won't be long and russ will be on cereal and that will fill him up a little more. i have no idea what blake was drinking at 6 weeks. as long as he's content... that's all that matters! he's precious!!
he's just a good eater. :) my first, emily weighed a whopping 20 lbs. when she was 5 months old...we had to take her out of her infant seat and buy her a convertable carseat! i love a healthy baby.
that makes me feel SO much better! everyone just looks at me like, "what are you feeding that child?!" when i tell them how old he is and how much he weighs.
